Two teenagers have been missing since a wind storm on Swan Lake in north-western Montana overturned their Kayak on Thursday. One teenager is a boy, and the other one is a girl.
At about 4:15 pm on Thursday, a person called 911 and reported seeing two people getting overturned from their Kayak due to strong winds about 305 meters from shore.
The caller said that the people were trying to reach the shore. But they went underwater before the arrival of the rescue team. Authorities believe that the missing teenagers and the people reported being overturned from their Kayak are the same.
The air temperature around Swan Lake is -9.4 Celsius (15 degrees Fahrenheit), and the water temperature of Swan Lake is 3.9 Celsius (39 degrees Fahrenheit).
