Seth Stephen Evans is a 27-year-old man who has been missing since Wednesday evening. He was last seen at around 9 pm at a local home improvement store. The surveillance cameras of the store caught his picture. Police of Athens-Clarke have shared his picture with the public and asked for their help to locate the missing man.
Evans works at a local rental company. On Wednesday, his job supervisor came to his house to meet him when he did not come to work. That same day, several of Evans’s friends, including his girlfriend, came to his house and found him missing. His friends became worried after not finding their friend and seeing his car still in its usual location.
Evans’s friends promptly reported to police the disappearance of their friend. Evans’s girlfriend told police that Evans last time texted her at about 8:50 on Wednesday evening. Police found a receipt while investigating Evans’s car. The receipt showed that he had purchased 60 pounds of concrete mix from the local home improvement store that he visited the night he disappeared.
Officials searched the area to Whitehall road but did not find any clues about the mysterious disappearance of Evans. Police have encouraged anyone with information about the whereabouts of Seth Evans to contact officer Jamie Jones. The informant can contact him by calling at (762) 400-7389 or mailing him at Jamie.Jones@accgov.com.
