Russia-Pakistan gas pipeline feasible, Putin tells Shehbaz Sharif

Islamabad, Sep 15 (IANS) Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday told Pakistan Top state leader Shehbaz Sharif that the establishment of a pipeline for the stock of gas to Pakistan from Moscow is potential, media reports said.

The remarks came during a gathering among Sharif and Putin uninvolved of the Shanghai Participation Association (SCO) culmination in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, The News detailed.

During the gathering, matters of common interests, respective relations between the two nations, and different issues were examined.

Putin likewise said that a gas pipeline among Pakistan and Russia was essential for the generally existing framework, The News revealed.

Prior on Thursday, Sharif arrived at Uzbekistan on a two-day visit to go to the yearly gathering of the SCO’s Board of Heads of State (CHS).
