Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 8 (IANS) The news on Thiru Onam is that Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan has not been welcomed by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to effortlessness the standard festivals that signal the finish of the Onam merriments.
The convention is that the Governor and his family are the honorable visitor to observe the amazing beautiful parade that goes through the core of the state capital.
Thus, Khan has drawn up his own arrangements and after a standard party with his staff and his welcomed visitors at the Raj Bhavan on Sunday, he left for Kochi; and the following day, he is showing up at the ancestral villa at Attapadi in Palakkad where he would accompany the ancestral local area.
Sources uncover that Khan was standing by to plan his excursion in like manner, yet with the standard welcome neglecting to show up at the Raj Bhavan, he chalked out his own arrangements.
With this it has become certain that Vijayan, another extreme political expert is not the slightest bit to yield after Khan pulled the floor covering under his rug when he wouldn’t give the green sign to the arrangement of Vijayan’s confidential secretary’s better half in a showing post at the Kannur University.
One more contentious issue as most would consider to be normal to surface is how Khan will manage the Bill that has been passed by the Kerala Assembly early this month over the tweaking of the powers of the Kerala Lokayukta.
If you define India by race, religion & language, then many will be excluded. India was defined only by ‘Aatma’, which doesn’t exclude even plants & animals: Kerala Guv Arif Mohammad Khan at Savitribai Phule Pune University on occasion of ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mohatsav’ in Maharashtra pic.twitter.com/sWuJDENNzd

It is not yet clear assuming that he will ink this Bill, even as he has communicated areas of strength for him that he isn’t one who will sign each paper that precedes him.
Inconvenience originally broke out between the two, in August, when Khan would not sign the repromulgation of the Ordinances tweaking powers of Lokayukta, compelling the Vijayan government to call an exceptional gathering meeting to drift the Bill.
So as issues stand, on Thiru Onam, the main day in Onam celebrations, things are not great between the Governor and Chief Minister and everyone’s attention is on who will triumph ultimately.
