Bhubaneswar, Sep 8 (IANS) The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and Indian Army have effectively finished six flight-trial of the Quick Reaction Surface to Air Missile (QRSAM) framework from Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur off the Odisha coast.
The flight tests were led as a component of assessment preliminaries by the Indian Army, the Ministry of Defense said in an explanation on Thursday.
The flight-tests were done against high velocity airborne targets copying different sorts of dangers to assess the ability of the weapon frameworks under various situations, including long reach medium elevation, short reach, high height moving objective, low radar signature with subsiding and crossing objective and salvo send off with two rockets discharged one after another, it said.
