David Haw is a 24-year-old man from Sussex who has been missing since Monday morning. He reportedly fell into Poole Harbour from a rigid inflatable boat (RIB).
According to the Marine Accident Investigation Branch (MAIB), Haw’s RIB crashed with a navigation buoy. Officials suspected a 19-year-old boy of killing and arrested him. However, they later released him.
According to the Dorset police, there were three people on the RIB from which Haw fell. A competent team consisting of the coastguard, the RNLI, police divers, and volunteers have been searching for Haw since he went missing.
Authorities have completed the wide and targeted searches to locate Haw. Unfortunately, they have not found any clues about his disappearance yet. Officials have shared the details about Haw’s physical appearance to enable the public to assist in finding him.
David Haw is white, of slim build, 5 ft10 in tall, and has short brown hair. He also has short facial hair and bushy eyebrows. The Poole Regatta yacht racing scheduled to occur over the bank holiday weekend has been canceled.
The yacht racing was canceled because the regatta committee and the yacht clubs of Poole decided to help find Haw with their boats, facilities, and staff.
