Early Life, Family & Education
On April 28, 1991, Cheslie Kryst was born in Jackson, Michigan. Her father was a Polish American and her mother was an African American whose name was April Simpkins. She had five siblings- four brothers and one sister. The names of her four brothers are Chandler, Brooklyn, Asa, Jet. Her sister’s name is Page.
Interestingly, her mother also used to participate in pageant competitions and was the winner of the Mrs. North Carolina US title. She won the title when Kryst was still in her childhood. The Kryst family later moved to Rock Hill, South Carolina and there Kryst enrolled at the Northwestern High School. The Kryst family decided to move again, this time they moved to Fort Mill, South Carolina. Kryst accordingly started attending Fort Mill High School, from where she eventually completed her High School in 2009.
Kryst decided to move to Colombia, South Carolina after completing her high school education to enroll at the University of California. She earned a degree in human resource management and marketing when she graduated from the Darla Moore School of Business. She later attended the Wake Forest University of Law in North Carolina which awarded her a Master of Business Administration and a Juris Doctor when she graduated from the University.
Career
Cheslie Kryst began her professional career as an attorney at Poyner Spruill LLP. Her job mostly included dealing with civil litigation and pro-bono cases. She also launched a personal fashion blog that offered advice to women about dressing while doing white-collar jobs. In 219, Kryst became the winner of the Miss USA title.
Besides being a successful model, Kryst also had a license to practice as an attorney. From 2019 to her sudden death in 2022, she was a correspondent for Extra. Her work as a correspondent for Extra won her two Daytime Emmy Awards nominations. Though her career was cut short due to her sudden death at 30, she nonetheless achieved many remarkable things.
Personal Life
It is not known whether Cheslie Kryst was involved in any romantic relationships before her sudden death on January 30, 2022. She died at 30 due to falling from her Midtown Manhattan apartment building which was 60 stories high. She also left a suicide note in which she said that all of her belongings should go to her mother after her death. The cause of her death is said to be suicide, but the police are still investigating the matter.
