On December 10, 1964, Bobby Flay was born in New York. The names of his parents were Bill Flay and Dorothy Barbara Flay. He started showing interest in culinary early in his life. The interest became apparent as early as the age of eight.
Bobby’s parents raised him as a Catholic Christian. This is also the reason why he went to a denominational school. He quit his formal education at the age of 17 and started working to earn money. Not much later, he enrolled at the French Culinary Institute to fulfill his dreams of becoming a professional chef.
